Absolutely top notch food, called in whilst on business in the area after being recommended by my sister who visits regularly with her family. I enjoy a curry which is slightly different to what's on the menu but they happily obliged me in making it. Very generous portions, food piping hot. So much flavour and the heat in the curry was just right, the kind that takes a while to build rather than the kind that you get with just chilli powder added. Im on the road a lot and this is the best variation of the curry i like that ive had on my travels across the uk, wish this place was closer to home for me, ill definitely be back when I'm next in the area

One of the best curries I've eaten, and very reasonable prices. It was so tasty and quantity was just perfect- I'm full but not stuffed. The place was really busy (as you would expect for a Saturday night) but the staff were so attentive and we were served quickly but not rushed. I particularly enjoyed the crispy squid, and the garlic nann with hariali was sublime!

Excellent dining experience at the Bombay Gate. Super choices on the menu, attentive and discreet staff. I'd recommend pre booking a reservation as this is a popular Indian restaurant in Darlington. I'd recommend visiting here

Bombay gate is our go to Indian in Darlington. The food is consistently amazing and the staff always go above and beyond to make sure your well looked after. Wouldn’t to anywhere else!

Best Indian in the North East! Fit myself, my wife and my son on a busy Friday night. Food was 10/10, fantastic taste and presentation. Starters arrived quick and mains came soon after with a perfect wait in between. Bar staff were quick with drinks and had a bit of fun with my son which he loved. Big shoutout to Amin and Kam for their above and beyond service. Highly recommend Bombay Gate. Miles ahead of the next best. Overall 10/10.

10/10 restaurant... Everything from the decor , service and food was nothing short of perfect. I really enjoyed my food, big portions and really well presented. Also tasted amazing! The restaurant is beautiful and clean and all the staff are really friendly. Definitely a 5* and this really should be a 10!

Myself and a few friends stumbled into this place in Darlington whilst we were up there for a few nights for a wedding. This place was nothing less than spectacular, from the atmosphere to the food and the service! Sometimes you can just tell when things are done with a passion and I can assure you this place definitely did! I would highly recommend a visit whether you live in the area or just dropping by like myself. Food was 10/10 and so was the service! Decor was also very unique! 5 stars from me, thanks guys!

First visit after moving back north from 38 years in Midlands. Frankly the best food I have had. Having sampled quite a few in my time in the Midlands including some very high brow Indian restaurants this was the best. Great food,staff and decor. Would highly recommend
